About the Artwork
High above the tree tops, a falcon stirs from an early morning rain as the first rays of the sun shatters the dew. In the belly of the New River Gorge, a dense veil of geometric shapes falls into the chasm like pick-up sticks. The fog dissipates slightly in the distance to reveal the spine of the New River Gorge Bridge bent across the background. The heat of the morning sun unchains misty, angelic, vapor into the atmosphere. “All Eyes on the Sunrise” is the artist’s tribute to the breath taking, mystical mornings of West Virginia. Thanks for looking.
