Approximately 150+ hours of Love were put into this painting.
A soft autumn breeze blows leaves from the trees. Stars twinkle while a fat little fox flanks the shadowy bank of the Buckhannon River by the covered bridge as the moon first breaks the top of the ridge. This painting celebrates the covered bridges of a bygone era. Thanks for looking. Enjoy!

About the Artwork
High above the tree tops, a falcon stirs from an early morning rain as the first rays of the sun shatters the dew. In the belly of the New River Gorge, a dense veil of geometric shapes falls into the chasm like pick-up sticks. The fog dissipates slightly in the distance to reveal the spine of the New River Gorge Bridge bent across the background. The heat of the morning sun unchains misty, angelic, vapor into the atmosphere. “All Eyes on the Sunrise” is the artist’s tribute to the breath taking, mystical mornings of West Virginia. Thanks for looking. Enjoy!

About the Artwork
Here we have the second installment in the Flight of Fancy Series by visionary artist, Brian C. Zickafoose. Our friend Fancy is suspended inside a torus shaped subatomic chamber as photon beams stream past in blinding speeds. The static of uncertainty dispatches on bulbous monitor screens across the walls of the chamber as we turn the corner ever faster. “Do you see?” – asks Fancy in a feverish whisper. Limited edition paper and canvas prints are available.

About the Artwork
Enter a realm of jewels and splendor in the latest visionary painting, “The Flight of Fancy” by Brian C. Zickafoose. This stunning piece originated from a series of visions that I downloaded from a DMT adventure that I embarked upon in 2008 at a party in Blacksburg, Virginia, during my time as a concert promoter in the area. The frame featured in this painting is the highlight of those visions and took 5 years in concept development before I ever laid a single stroke to canvas. I am proud to say that the finished product is a remarkably true representation of the original vision that I received, so many years ago. I spent many tedious hours hammering out this painting to see the vision through to completion and now my bejeweled insect friend exists in my dimension. I have opened a portal for you to enjoy. Thank you for looking.

About the Artwork
In the Summer of 2015, I attended a week-long painting intensive at CoSM and the studio of Alex Grey and Allyson Grey. This painting is the fruit of that adventure. The graphical elements for this work were transposed straight from my sketchbook. I had been pondering the idea of a bejeweled pineal gland for sometime and I wanted to create something charged with a sexual buzz and static energy interactions, hence the dual phallic Tesla Coils and plasma beams. Alex Grey did some work on this during the intensive and also gave the painting its name. Most of the work was done at CoSM but I also put in some work on this at the Mountain Music Festival at the New River Gorge in West Virginia.
